Good point
Someone made a point to me that because we're vegetarian and doing aerobic activity at high altitude, we may not have enough iron stores for erythropoeisis.
"Good point," I thought, and since the other day when we gorged ourselves on ham, chinese sausage, and spam, I thought, "bugger it, I'm going to eat as much meat as I can so I can get those red blood cells cranking."
So far I've had:
1. Yak spaghetti bolognese - bloody good. I've missed spag bol.
2. Yak sizzler with chips and vegies - not bad but too thin a slice of yak
3. Yak steak - similar to the sizzler, but the chips were better.
If I can't hug 'em, I'll eat 'em instead. Mmmmm.
Jen's managed to keep it green since her red splurge the other day, though she does plan to have one red meat dish while she's here... perhaps tonight in Shigatse?
More soon,
m
