We leave tomorrow

Had a pretty good day today getting our shite together for the ride.

The morning started off with a touristy visit to the Jokhar Temple which is one of the most revered temples in Tibetan Buddhism. There were thousands of pilgrims there and we felt as awkward as bumbling tourists could be.

Had issues with the MSR stove that we bought off Lucie - had a blood-pressure raising fight with the stove attempting to change the regulator from white-gas to petrol/kero. After a lot of banging and re-heating, the fused regulator managed to unfuse itself with a bit of physical coersion.





Here's Barkhor Square in the morning. All the smoke is coming from offerings made by pilgrims.
